This cushion is made by local artist and gallery owner Nicky Stockley.
 
Durdle door cushion, inspired by Jurassic coast. It is 45cm both in height and width. Cushions are one sided with a black or grey backing, invisible zip, filled with an allergy friendly filling, both the front and back are made with a velvet fabric.
 
These cushions start life as a drawing which is then inked with a technical pen, this process can take at least a couple of weeks because I'm so fussy! I then bring all my colours into play with photoshop software to get those bold flat colours, my designs are then printed on velvet and the whole piece is sewn together by me.
